Classroom Setup

• The program location ideally should be at least 20' x 30'. The staging area should have good lighting and a bare floor, (no carpet is better).

• For the first segment, the children can sit on the floor directly in front of the display table, so chairs are not necessary. Some chairs for the teachers & parents might be needed, however.

• 1 long 6' or 8' work table for the display is needed.

• If the students will work on individual shofars later, an additional 4-5 tables (round or long is fine) are also needed.

• Since participants will be called up to help, and to bring the show-and-tell items up close, a stage is not advised.

• Two separate electrical outlets and a source for some water.

• Please try to have a nearby parking space available for our vehicle so that everything can be unloaded quickly without delay.

Here are links for some educational resources that might be of use in preparing the students for the program.
