HOW TO INSTALL THE PURIM
SLIDE SHOW SOFTWARE
1. First download the program to your computer, (the desktop is a good place). Unzip the file and install.
Never install the program on an external hard drive.
If you plan on installing the program on another computer that doesn’t have internet access (or has slow internet access) you can save the unzipped file to a backup CD or external hardrive.
Copy the file from the backup drive/CD and run the program on the actual computer to install it.
2. When you run the program on your computer for the first time a SECURITY WINDOW will open. It will look like the window below. 'Unlock application' should be selected.
3. Copy the numbers from the SITE CODE and MID fields and email it to Purim@JewishChildren.com.
Include your name, address, and phone number.
If you did not yet do so, click here to pay for the program.
4. You will receive an ACTIVATION CODE (the registration number) in the response email. Copy and paste this number into the field called ACTIVATION CODE (See below.) Now press CONTINUE and the program will open.
Keep in mind that the ACTIVATION CODE allows you to run the program on this computer only.
5. The licensed program will now run on THIS computer. This number cannot be used on any other computer. KEEP A RECORD OF THIS NUMBER. (It is best to save it in a text file and burn it to your back up CD.) Whenever you start the program, the SECURITY WINDOW will appear first. Simply click CONTINUE to go to the program.
HOW DO I TRANSFER THE
PURIM SLIDE SHOW SOFTWARE TO ANOTHER COMPUTER?
You can remove and transfer the Purim Slide Show program from one computer to another without having to contact Tzivos Hashem. However you will no longer be able to use it on the original computer where it was installed.
The transfer will require the original ACTIVATION CODE you received in the response email during the purchase of the program. Hopefully you wrote this number on the backup CD or saved it otherwise.

START by opening the program on the SOURCE COMPUTER to the SECURITY WINDOW as this screen below. Ensure that the blue bar states 'LICENSED'.

STEP 1: install and run copy of the slideshow on the TARGET COMPUTER.
You can download it again if you don't know have the copy.
STEP 2: Copy "Site code" from TARGET COMPUTER.

STEP 3:
1.
On the SOURCE COMPUTER select TRANSFER LICENSE instead of Enter Application.
2. Enter the ACTIVATION CODE you were given in the email on the SOURCE COMPUTER.
3. Enter the SITE CODE from the TARGET COMPUTER (new site code).
Press CONTINUE.

STEP 4: Copy the new ACTIVATION CODE.

STEP 5: Paste the new ACTIVATION CODE on the TARGET COMPUTER and press CONTINUE. The first computer will no longer be able to play the Purim Slide Show.

If you want to change back to another computer, just repeat the process..
